Tony did not like maths and his feelings were expressed through graffiti on the walls of the school. After conversations with the art teacher, maths coordinator, and school caretaker, a plan was put in place. Tony would create a design in his art lessons, scale it up to the size of the wall of the math building, order the appropriate quantity of paint, and then, with the help of his friend, Benji, paint the mural during the school’s Activity Week. As a result, a dark area of the school was brightened up and Tony created an unusual piece of assessed coursework for his art and design GCSE, which required quite a lot of mathematics in the planning.Tony did not like maths and his feelings were expressed through graffiti on the walls of the school.
